Everyone was delighted to be back to school after a fun filled Halloween break.
Our new Aistear theme is The Restaurant. The children are having great fun building with the jaggo blocks and we have also started using the fantastic buildings 5th and 6th class made for us. We have a new role play area too. Last week the children in the construction and small world groups joined together to build a big town and a motorway.
Other children have been using the jaggo blocks to build marble runs.
Ms. McDonagh did some lovely lessons about food with the class. We met her friend Barry the bear and saw pictures of him in a restaurant. She also brought in lots of delicious fruit and vegetables for us to taste.
We were working on throwing and catching in PE.
We also made play dough monsters inspired by Max the monster from our Halloween song.
