Last week we worked together to create fairy doors for our new fairy garden.
This week we finished learning about the European Union. The final activity in our Big Friendly Guide to the EU project involved working together to build towers.
We were also delighted to try these new Code and Go Robot Mice. We worked together to plan the route and programme the mouse to move around the board and find the cheese. We had so much fun! Huge thanks to Carmel in the Galway Education Centre for letting us use them. 👍
Junior Infants are also taking part in the Dare to Believe Olympic Schools Challenge. We have been learning all about the Olympics. Did you know the first Olympic Games were held over 2700 years ago? We love learning all about the athletes in Team Ireland. We even decorated postcards and wrote the athletes messages to wish them luck this summer. We’re all hoping Ireland will win lots of medals in Tokyo.
