We’ve had a great two weeks back at school.
We celebrated Pancake Tuesday. We also started a new project, Woodies ‘Budding Gardeners’ programme, now that we’ve finished the Road to Beijing. We will complete a new gardening task each month- the first task was to plant dahlias. Inspired by our new gardening skills, we’ve decided our role play area will be a garden centre this month.
Last week John from FAI did a soccer workshop with us in the hall.
We also did a lovely fine motor art activity, making rainbows and pots of gold for St. Patrick’s Day.
We also said goodbye to Lucy, our wonderful Music Generation teacher. On her last day the children gave Lucy a book to remember her time with Junior Infants. While we’ll miss Lucy we’re delighted to welcome Colm as our new music teacher and we’re sure we’ll learn lots of lovely songs and games with him.
