A Super Week in Juniors

We’ve had a fantastic week in school. We’ve been working with other classes and it has been lots of fun making new friends and learning from each other.

On Wednesday we finished our Big Friendly Guide to the European Union project by baking fairy cakes and decorating them to look like the EU flag.

On Thursday we had lots of fun with our friends in 5th/6th class. We worked together on a STEM activity making structures out of marshmallows and spaghetti.
We’re really looking forward to lots more fun with them before the summer holidays.

Friday was a particularly busy day.
We joined 2nd class for some shared reading in the morning. After reading we taught them the song The Rattlin Bog.
We painted some doors to welcome more fairies to our Fairy Garden. We plan to do a lot of work in the fairy garden this month.
We had a hurling session after break. We’re getting better every week and having lots of fun playing with our friends.
Fionnula from Music Generation joined us in the afternoon for a fantastic lesson.

Now we’re all ready for a lovely long weekend.
