1) There are lots of different types of magnets. We used bar magnets, circular magnets and horseshoe magnets.
2) All magnets have two poles- a North pole and a South pole.
3) Poles that are different attract each other. This means an invisible force will pull the poles together.
4) Poles that are the same will repel each other. This means they will push each other apart.
5) Some metals are magnetic. Not all metals are magnetic.
