Movie Day
- Set up a home cinema, including a stand where children can 'purchase' snacks with coins before the movie.
- Write a review of your favourite movie (Senior Infants).
- Recreate a scene from your favourite movie.
- Listen to and respond to a piece of music from a film and draw what you think the movie is about.
- Design a movie poster.

Book Day
- Design a book mark.
- Design a new cover for your favourite book.
- Draw your favourite book character.
- Make up/ write a story with your favourite toy or teddy as the main character.
- Have some cosy reading time with a teddy, pet or family member.
Nature Day
- Have a picnic.
- Search for each colour of the rainbow in your garden or local area.
- Plant some flowers.
- Paint a picture of the scenery outside.
- Learn about some local plants and animals.
- Go on a nature walk and draw pictures of the things you find.
Cookery Day
- Bake and decorate a cake or some buns.
- Make fruit faces.
- Draw/ write a menu of all your favourite foods.
- Set up the kitchen/ dining room as a pretend restaurant for the afternoon.
- Create a piece of art inspired by foods you like (or don't like!).
Challenge Day
- The Cookie Challenge: Place a cookie on your forehead and try get it into your mouth without using your hands.

Outdoor Art Day
We usually finish the year with a talent show, Teddy Bear's picnic and a party. I'd love to see videos of talents or photos from picnics if you'd like to share them on Seesaw.
