We’ve had a fabulous Friendship Week in Juniors.
On Monday we read The Rainbow Fish and worked in pairs to decorate our own fish. We also chose a secret friend using lollipop sticks. We were extra kind to our secret friend for the day. At the end of the day we guessed who our secret friend was.
On Tuesday we read It's Good to be Kind and learned a new song, I Smile at You.
On Wednesday we celebrated World Rhino Day and Friendship Week with our story Ronald the Rhino.
A lovely Junior Infant child kindly shared their amazing book about animals with us on Thursday so we could find out even more about rhinos. We also made friendship bracelets for each other.
And on Friday we enjoyed a class breakfast together. We had a lovely lesson with Fionnula from Music Generation. We also recorded the Friendship Song we have been learning all week for everyone to see at home.
